Heavy, authentic vintage mining lamp, also known as a pot lamp. Made of bronze and steel, in aged, well-used condition, likely actually used in a mine during its working life.

Unlike oil lamps, this one was originally battery-powered, an early electric mining lamp. The original lamp insert is still present, though the battery has been removed, so it's now decorative only.
