Vintage French "Lampe Pigeon" oil lamp, a smaller model than usual, in usable condition.

Comes with a fitting glass chimney and includes the wick. The reservoir is filled with absorbent cotton, which soaks up the oil and helps prevent ignition if the lamp is tipped over — an original safety feature.

An unusual model, with a round carrying loop and text on the front, different from the versions usually seen. Likely an older edition, dating from around 1920–1940.

Shows light signs of age, as expected for a vintage piece.

A nice addition to an oil lamp collection, or as a decorative accent.
