Vintage Folding Trench Lantern – WWI Era Candle Lamp (French, 1920s–1930s)

Sold
Ships worldwide from the Netherlands, securely packaged for safe delivery.

Rare folding trench lantern, a type of candle lamp widely used during World War I. The folding design allowed soldiers to transport it easily.

Working condition, with an aged patina. The glass currently fitted is 1.5 mm window glass (not original), making the lantern usable, though it's thin and fragile — folding carries a risk of breakage.

Unmarked, but many lanterns of this type originated in France, and this one fits that design heritage.

Condition:

Light signs of age

Glass is a replacement (thin and delicate)
