Meva 863 hurricane lantern, produced in Czechoslovakia in 1982, fully functional, with a painted finish. Unlike most lanterns where the paint is stripped, this one retains its colour, tested for durability and heat resistance even under prolonged use with a high flame.

The Meva 863 is the successor to the BAT 158, continuing the tradition of robust design.
