A distinctive hurricane lantern by Mewa, model Bat 158. While this model is commonly found in various colors or in tin-plated versions, this particular example is made of copper and features a chain instead of a traditional handle, making it especially unique.
As expected, it shows light signs of age and use, which add to its character. The wick holder and glass are not original, though the glass is marked with an attractive Cristal logo.
