Vintage Pigeon lamp, likely dating from around 1930. Unlike the more common wall-mounted Pigeon lamps, this is a standing variant with an elegant base.

Key features:
Design: marked "Lampe Pigeon, Garantie Véritable" with additional inscriptions
Historical details: two emblems dated 1885 and 1886, plus the dove illustration the lamp is named for
Includes original metal wick holder, for adjusting the wick deep into the tank
Height: approx. 30 cm

Condition: vintage, with visible signs of age
Innovative design: absorbent cotton inside the reservoir gradually releases oil for a long burn time
