Stübgen & Co Bat 2850 hurricane lantern, produced in Germany between 1910 and 1947. This piece dates from around 1925–1927, in good working condition.

The original marked glass is embossed with a bat logo and the text "Made in Thuringia, DR Patent". The glass has a small chip on one corner but remains intact. Light signs of age, including a few rusted holes in the side air tubes, mostly hidden by the protective cage.

Comes with a new wick, for use with pure kerosene only. Not treated against rust; additional protection recommended for prolonged outdoor use.
