Rare early Mewa 865 hurricane lantern from Czechoslovakia, with original Mewa markings on both the chimney and the body. Unlike the more common Mewa lamps, this one stands out for its design.

The glass insert is not original but unusual: marked with an owl and "Made in Germany" on one side, with the Phönix logo on the reverse. Its origin remains a mystery.
