Special vintage Feuerhand 276 STK/120 Baby Special hurricane lantern from West Germany, featuring the largest long-burn fuel tank version with an impressive burn time of up to 120 hours.

A particularly interesting detail is the absence of the wick adjustment wheel. This was often intentionally done for lanterns used in public places, preventing people from turning the wick higher while the lantern was hanging.

This is the Feuerhand Baby 276 STK/120 model, most commonly encountered as a yellow safety lantern, but this particular example is the rarer plain metal version instead.

While the STK/70 version is far more commonly found, the STK/120 is much rarer and fitted with an even larger fuel tank, allowing for exceptionally long operation times.

The lantern includes its original marked glass globe and still retains the wick used to help draw fuel into the burner.

A fantastic addition to any vintage lantern or industrial collection, while also remaining perfectly usable as atmospheric lighting for the home, garden, camping, or holiday use.
