Rare trench lamp from Gebr. Bing A.G. Nürnberg, Germany, likely produced between 1920 and 1940, possibly for military or field use before WWII.

The mechanism:

Adjustable chimney that slides in and out and locks with a lever
Top handle and two rear handles for carrying
Glass can be secured in place
Includes a clamp for holding a candle

Note: incomplete, missing several parts, including the doors and the oil reservoir. Still a decorative object.

Suitable for collectors of military or industrial antiques, or as an accent piece.
