Unique, highly collectible railway signal lamp from A. Butin, Paris, complete and in working condition. Used by the French National Railways (SNCF), with rare design elements.

Key features:
Original pull glass chimney, rare and perfectly matched to the lamp
Rotating reservoir and reflector system operated by a lever underneath, switching between clear and red glass, a feature almost never seen
Robust construction with a secure closure and patina

Used as a hand lamp and signal light for railway operations and shunting, with a top handle for carrying.
