Rare Antique Railway Signal Lamp – Poyard à Paris, Complete and Functional, Circa 1920–1930
Antique railway signal lamp manufactured by Poyard à Paris, a French maker of railway lighting. Complete and in working condition, with two clear lenses and one red lens (the red lens can also be positioned at the front).
The burner is secured to the reservoir with a threaded nut and marked with the Poyard à Paris brand. The pull-up glass chimney is likely original and rare. The back bears the inscription "REV 952", possibly referring to the railway company or route it was used on.
Originally used as a hand lantern for railway operations, with a top handle and a rear wall mount.
