Rare antique oil lamp, considered a predecessor of the hurricane lantern, dating from around 1875–1900, complete and working. Lamps in this state are hard to find.

Unique design: the lamp can be completely disassembled (see photos), and the top cap can be removed by rotating the opening beneath the handle.

Estimated production date: c.1875–1900
Height (excluding handle): approx. 28 cm
Condition: good vintage state with light signs of age, fully functional, fitted with a new wick; all parts appear original except the base, replaced due to corrosion
Glass: unmarked, with charming imperfections and air bubbles, likely original
Material: metal, untreated against rust; additional protection recommended for outdoor use
