Rare German hurricane lantern by Fr. Stübgen & Co, marked "2833 D.R. PATENT". Based on design details, this model can be dated to between 1907 and 1909. Rarely offered, with its original wire cage and glass featuring a large bat emblem.

Highlights:

Original wire guard still present
Wick wheel holder with bat logo
Copper rivets on the chimney top
Brass tank cap
Glass: original and marked with bat motif

Restored for usability: the tank was previously corroded and repaired with steel putty, an additional bottom was installed historically, and the tank has been sealed with professional tank sealer.

Good, functional condition, with signs of age.
