Brass oil lamp with a rising glass mechanism and a white opal shade, in nice condition, with an uncommon design where the oil reservoir is built entirely around the central column.

Using the small adjustment wheel, the whole lamp can be raised or lowered along the column, an unusual decorative feature. It resembles a Quinquet lamp, but with a distinctive construction. The wick holder is marked "Kosmos Brenner".

Suitable for a collection of oil lamps or antique lighting, or as a decorative piece in an industrial-style interior.
