NOS Vintage Feuerhand Road Worker Lantern with Winter Glass – Orange Safety Candle Lamp 1960s/70s

Ships worldwide from the Netherlands, securely packaged for safe delivery.

Beautiful New Old Stock (NOS) vintage Feuerhand road worker lantern, originally designed for use with a tea light candle or small wax candle. These lanterns were used as safety lighting during roadworks and construction projects.

This example is in fantastic condition and features a particularly special detail: an original marked “winter glass,” designed to protect the flame during extremely cold weather conditions. A rare and desirable feature for collectors.

The lantern is fitted with orange plastic lenses made from removable inserts. Unlike most similar models, which usually feature both a clamp and a locking latch, this version only has the original clamp closure, making it a slightly different and interesting variation.

Only minimal signs of age are present, preserving its authentic vintage character while remaining highly decorative and functional.

A wonderful addition to any antique lantern, industrial, or transportation collection, but also perfect for atmospheric lighting in the home, garden, camping trips, or holiday use.

Specifications:

  • Height: 25 cm (without handle)
  • Width: 15 cm
  • Manufacturer: Feuerhand
  • Estimated production period: 1960s–1970s
  • Lens material: Orange plastic
  • Fuel type: Tea light / candle

Important:
This lantern has not been treated against rust formation. For long-term outdoor use, additional rust protection is recommended.

Ideal for collectors of vintage lighting, industrial décor, railwayana, automobilia, and German safety lanterns.
