Helvetia Storm Lantern – Rare Swiss Egloff & Cie Model (c. 1920) – Original Marked Glass – Fully Working

Ships worldwide from the Netherlands, securely packaged for safe delivery.

Rare Swiss Helvetia storm lantern, manufactured by Egloff & Cie, likely produced around 1920. These lanterns are hard to find, especially in working condition with the original marked glass globe.

Heavily built, and recognisable by its glass-lift mechanism. The glass carries the original manufacturer's marking as well as Swiss patent number 37818.

There are several visible repairs to the tubes near the tank (see photos), but the lantern remains fully operational. The glass has a small area of wear or damage along the upper rim, typical for a lantern this age. Lightly treated against rust and fitted with a new wick.

Suitable for a collection of European or Swiss storm lanterns, or as lighting for the home, garden, or camping.
