Feuerhand 423 Hurricane Lantern (1928–1939) – Rare Lever‑Lift Model with Extremely Rare Red Globe
Feuerhand 423 hurricane lantern with a red globe, in good working condition. Produced between 1928 and 1939.
Good vintage condition overall. It was converted to electric use at some point; the electrical parts have been removed, but two holes remain in the air tube (visible in photos).
The Feuerhand 423 exists in several variations; this is the less common version with a lever-lift mechanism for raising the globe. This type of lift is more often seen on Frowo lanterns and is unusual for Feuerhand.
A Feuerhand 423 with lever-lift is uncommon; one with a red globe is rare.
Shows light age-related wear. Suitable for a collection, or for use as lighting at home, in the garden, or on holiday.
