Brass hand lantern, less common than the steel versions. Solidly built, quite heavy, in working condition.

A nice feature is the removable top: using the two small pins, the roof section can be lifted off for cleaning.

There are some solder marks on the rear of the reflector, origin unknown. There's also a small raised piece on the back with an unclear function; on the inside at that spot, some letters are visible but not legible.

The lantern has both a top bracket and an additional bracket on the back. The brass wick holder is a nice detail.

Shows light signs of age. Suitable for a collection, or as an oil lamp for interior use.
