Trench lantern by Hinks Birmingham, 1918, a piece of early 20th-century British military lighting. Designed for use during the First World War, equipped with both an oil reservoir and a candle holder.

In good condition, examples like this aren't often found. Complete and in working order, including the original wick holder, which still functions smoothly.

Shows light signs of age, as expected for an item over a century old. Suitable for a collection, or for lighting at home, in the garden, or on holiday.
