Fantastic and extremely rare Feuerhand 275 “Non‑Baby” variant – early post‑war lantern with Auer glass – in good working condition, silver painted.
Rare version of the Feuerhand 275, a "Not-Baby" variant.
The glass is notable: an Auer globe marked "No. 275", instead of the more common P40 marking usually seen on Auer glass of this era.
This model was produced for only a short period, shortly after the Second World War. Unusually, it doesn't carry the word "Baby", even though the Feuerhand 275 normally always includes this marking. It's also marked "Germany" rather than "W. Germany", dating it to between 1945 and 1949 — likely among the first storm lanterns Feuerhand produced after the war.
Shows signs of age. The lamp has been painted silver-grey; since the paint is still in good condition, it has been left as is.
Suitable for a collection, or for practical use at home, in the garden, or when travelling.
