German Stübgen & Co. BAT 2850 hurricane lantern, in good condition, with its original marked glass and red accents. The BAT 2850 model was produced between 1910 and 1947; this example dates from around 1939–1940.
The glass is marked with the bat logo, "Made in Germany", and "BAT BRAND". The red trim on the globe cage and filler cap has been reapplied to match the original appearance.
Shows light signs of wear, as expected for a lantern of this age. Suitable for a collection, or for lighting at home, in the garden, or on holiday.
