A vintage Feuerhand 175 Baby hurricane lantern from Western Germany.
It has the somewhat larger ventilation holes in the chimney, so this is a later example, most likely from the 1960s/70s. It comes with the original marked globe.
Naturally it shows the marks of time, but that also gives the lantern its character.
A fine addition to a collection, but also still excellent for use as lighting in the house, in the garden or on holiday.
This is the Feuerhand Baby 175.
Height excluding handle: 20 cm (7.9 in)
Fitted with a new wick, only used with pure paraffin.
