The Frowo Nr. 65 is a German hurricane lantern with a very large fount, which lets it burn for a long time. The model was made between 1935 and 1971; this example is thought to date from the 1950s or 1960s.
The fount is embossed Frowo Nr.65 Made in Germany.
The lantern is new old stock: unused and in working order. The globe is the original marked one. There are two small dents on the underside of the fount.
It burns kerosene.
This is not a lantern you come across often, and certainly not in unused condition.
