Beautiful hurricane lantern from the German brand Feuerhand; the model is the Feuerhand 201. This hurricane lantern is in good working order.
The Feuerhand 201 was produced between 1921 and 1941. This is the earlier version from the 1920s, which can be recognised by the off-centre filler cap.
With rare red glass bearing the Feuerhand logo.
Naturally it shows light signs of the passage of time, but that also gives the lantern character.
A lovely addition to a collection, and still excellent as atmospheric lighting at home, in the garden or on holiday.
