Antique Signal Lamp / Candle Lantern / Hand Lantern with Red Glass

A candle lantern in beautiful vintage condition and functional.
There is a handle on the back. Originally, it also had a small ring on the front to lift the glass, but this piece is missing.

The build quality is lightweight. Difficult to date precisely, but likely from the 1930s–1950s. It was probably used as a signal lamp to give a stop indication.

Naturally, it shows light signs of age, which only add to its character.
A great addition to any collection.
