Antique miner's lamp from around 1900, attributed to Hubert Joris (Joris Lampe, Belgium), with its original Val St. Lambert D.S.4 glass. Fully working: the wick holder raises smoothly.

According to collectors and known references, this type is believed to be a Master Hewer's Lamp ("Meesterhouwerslamp") by Hubert Joris, comparable in design and quality to early Wolf mining lamps.

Usable as a small oil lamp, or displayed decoratively. Also of interest to mining-lamp collectors as an unused piece.
