This is a beautiful and functional example, suitable for both \u003cstrong\u003eoil\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003ecandle\u003c\/strong\u003e use—an uncommon and highly desirable feature.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese lamps were typically used as \u003cstrong\u003ecabin lanterns\u003c\/strong\u003e, and its maritime origin is unmistakable thanks to the marking \u003cstrong\u003e“Lanterne Marine”\u003c\/strong\u003e. The lantern is in \u003cstrong\u003eworking condition\u003c\/strong\u003e and displays a wonderful authentic look.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs expected from a lamp of this age, it shows \u003cstrong\u003esigns of wear\u003c\/strong\u003e, which add character.
