What makes it especially remarkable is that the lantern \u003cstrong\u003edoes not carry the word “Baby”\u003c\/strong\u003e, even though the Feuerhand 275 normally \u003cem\u003ealways\u003c\/em\u003e includes this marking. In addition, it is marked \u003cstrong\u003e“Germany”\u003c\/strong\u003e rather than \u003cstrong\u003e“W. Germany”\u003c\/strong\u003e, which allows it to be dated  between \u003cstrong\u003e1945 and 1949\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003cbr\u003eIt was likely among the very first storm lanterns produced by Feuerhand after the war.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNaturally, it shows signs of age, which add to the character of the lantern.
